- At least 3 years’ experience working as a planner in a Company’s planning department or contributing to the development of a project plan
- Competencies in written and spoken English Language
- Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office, Excel and Project
- Demonstrable planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
- The successful candidate must be prepared to undertake travel as part of the role.
- To establish and maintain effective project planning and programming systems for all marine interior fit out projects - this will include recording and reporting on the progress of works and resource planning under the instruction of the Project Planner
- In conjunction with the project team prepare comprehensive planning information on new project start-ups, including the sequence of operations and dependencies, resource and procurement requirements
- Update current project programmes and plans with site feedback on daily, weekly or monthly basis
- Advise project planner / project team of critical changes to priorities and critical threats
- Control and record programme revisions
- Assist the Project Planner in identifying techniques to improve estimating, planning and cost control on existing and future projects
- Assist the Project Planner to develop various programs from tenders, procurement, installation, commissioning to as built
- Undertake any other duties as directed by Management commensurate with the role.
